The policy targets a pattern rather than any single production method: channels that repost others' content with minimal change, or assemble videos from templates with little editorial input of their own. It is the flag most often raised against fully generated or fully templated-looking channels, whether or not AI was actually involved in producing them, because the review is about the resulting pattern of output rather than the tools behind it.
Example
A channel that mixes original research, a script a person has actually checked, varied stock footage and AI visuals, and distinct titles and thumbnails between videos reads differently under this policy than a channel publishing visually identical videos on a template with only the narration swapped out.
Why it matters
This is the concrete thing to defend against when using AI in production, more so than any single tool choice. Original topic selection, a script a person has reviewed, and real variation between uploads are the elements that make one video read as distinct from the next, and that editorial contribution is what the policy is actually checking for.
