What you need
Put these three things in one Google Drive folder:
Your images
The images should already be in the same order as the scenes in your script. Number them in one continuous sequence, such as:
1.png 2.png 3.pngor
scene_01.jpg scene_02.jpg scene_03.jpg
Your voiceover
Use one finished audio file. Supported formats include MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, and OPUS.
Your script
Use a TXT, DOCX, or Google Doc file. Each narration line should correspond to one image, in the same order as the image filenames. The number of script lines must match the number of images.
How the sync works
The notebook transcribes the voiceover, finds where each line of the script begins, and uses those timings to decide when each image should appear.
The matching is flexible enough to handle small differences between the written script and the spoken voiceover, such as missing words or minor pronunciation changes.
You do not need to manually create timestamps.
What you get
The notebook creates a finished MP4 and saves it back into the same Google Drive folder. You can choose:
- 1920 x 1080
- 1080 x 1920
- 1080 x 1080
The images are cropped to fill the frame and the original voiceover is used as the audio track.
What it does not do
This notebook handles assembly only. It does not:
- Write the script
- Generate images
- Create the voiceover
- Add transitions or motion
- Add background music
- Generate captions
- Choose or reorder scenes
You bring the finished assets. The notebook simply syncs and assembles them.
It also currently works best with Latin-script languages such as English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
How to run it
- Open the notebook
- Click Copy to Drive
- Put your images, voiceover, and script into one Google Drive folder
- Paste the folder link into the notebook
- Choose your output size
- Click Runtime, then Run all
- Grant Google Drive access when prompted
- Wait for the finished MP4 to be saved back to the folder
Why this one is free
Syncing finished images to a finished voiceover is useful, but it is only the final assembly step.
The time-consuming part usually happens earlier: turning a script into dozens or hundreds of scenes, writing the image prompts, keeping the visual style consistent, generating the images, creating the voiceover, and fixing weak outputs.
